Mark Wolle Elected President of KWAR – Two New Directors join the Board
KITCHENER-WATERLOO, ON (November 28, 2014) ––Today the Board of Directors of the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR) elected Mark Wolle to serve as president, succeeding Lynn Bebenek.

Mark Wolle is a second generation REALTOR® and the Broker of Record-Owner of Royal LePage Wolle Realty. A licensed sales representative since 1998, he earned his broker’s licence in 2005. Wolle has been a director of the KWAR since 2012. During his tenure he has chaired the Finance, Discipline and Arbitration committees and served on the Executive committee. Mark has also participated in several KWAR committees and taskforces during his membership and has been an active member in the community volunteering with minor sports.
“This is an important time for the KWAR, and I am excited and honoured to be taking on the role of president,” says Wolle. “New technology tools, enhanced MLS® services, and greater integration of third party data are just some of the developments members can look forward to using to help serve the needs of their clients in the year ahead.”
Joining Wolle as officers of the Association are 1st Vice President Charlotte Zawada of RE/MAX Twin City Realty, 2nd Vice President James Craig of Coupal Markou Commercial Real Estate, Past President Lynn Bebenek of Team Realty K.W, and Executive Officer Bill Duce.
New to the directors this year are Colleen Koehler of RE/MAX Twin City Realty and Tony Schmidt of Howie Schmidt Realty.
Returning as directors are Andrew Fielding of Royal LePage Grand Valley Realty, Jane Gardner of Royal LePage Wolle Realty, Eric Klimstra of Royal LePage Grand Valley Realty, and Brian Santos of Peak Realty.
Established in 1937, the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR) operates the local Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) and provides ongoing professional education courses for nearly 1,200 REALTOR® members who serve the communities of Kitchener-Waterloo and outlying areas. The term REALTOR® is a trademark identifying members in good standing of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) who provide real estate brokerage services in compliance with CREA’s By-Laws and Rules, the REALTOR® Code, and all applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations. The MLS® System of the KWAR is operated in association with the MLS® Marks owned by CREA. An MLS® System includes an inventory of listings of participating REALTORS®, and ensures a certain level of accuracy of information, professionalism and co-operation amongst REALTORS® to affect the purchase and sale of real estate.
