23rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament
It’s that time again…the weather is warming up, patios are filling up and the smell of fresh cut grass at the golf course is flooding the air!
It’s also time for our annual KWAR Golf tournament which will take place on Tuesday, June 28th at Rebel Creek Golf Club. Once again proceeds from the tournament will go to support Habitat for Humanity® Waterloo Region and our very own REALTOR® Habitat Home.
There are several ways in which you can participate, whether it is through sponsorship, providing a prize donation, or putting in a foursome and joining the fun!
We all know that REALTORS® play an important role in every great community. They help families make that most important purchase of a home, and businesses find the perfect location to succeed. Some may assume the role of a REALTOR® stops as soon as a ‘SOLD’ sign is up, but that is not the case. Whether it is recommending contractors for renovations, home inspectors, aiding in the transition to a new city, finding movers, getting the right legal representation for clients or getting a new business established, REALTORS® go beyond simply selling a property. Connecting and promoting your business or offered-services (as a sponsor) to this group of over 1,200 community champions is a direct line to not only the REALTOR® community, but to our entire Region.
Last year REALTORS® raised over $20,000 in support of Habitat for Humanity® Waterloo Region and sold almost 6,000 homes here in Waterloo Region. Now, our Association is looking to take our community efforts a step further and build our very own Habitat for Humanity® home.
